Success Tip- No Way Jose!

Do you have an area of your life where you just say…No way, Jose! Wear a bikini, No way, Jose! Start my own business. No way, Jose!

Me too. My area has been…being organized. What makes matters worse is that David Allen and his wife Kathryn have been friends for over 15 years. I remember reading one of the first drafts of GTD long, long, long before it was the Getting Things
Done that has sold over 450,000 copies. Year after year I would take David’s classes. I felt like I was a GTD remedial student. Since I am a “creative”, I thought that being detail oriented was for ‘bean counters’. The most recent GTD opened my eyes. Sure, my paper and detail muscles are weak from non-use. But, I have strong muscles where watching my emotional energy is concerned. So, now I use my skills and translate them to using them with paper.

What is a skill that you don’t think you are good at? Use the skills that you excel in to help you make the transition!
