Teach People How To Treat You...

If you put up with abuse of any kind, it's time to walk on...teach people how to treat you.

One day, out of the blue, a good friend of mine said she needed to lose 20 pounds. I found this a little peculiar because she never says stuff like that. She is a beautiful, confidant young woman. She works hard, knows what she wants, and knows where she's going. So as you see, this came as quite a shock to me. Hearing that this ambitious young woman is having self-esteem issues made me wonder what the source of the problem is. A MAN. Did you already guess that?

My wonderful friend started seeing a guy who began criticizing her body about a week after the relationship started...a week! Now imagine the kind of criticism she would get after a year. If a man starts abusing you, in any way, during your "pink cloud" period, you gotta walk on!

As the wonderful Eli Davidson once told me: the guy you're dating is a reflection of you. Relationships are like dental mirrors; they reflect how you feel inside. Stop and think about it. Is your man treating you the way you want to be treated? Does he bring out your insecurities? Is he afraid of commitment? If he is any of these things (although the list goes on and on and on...), it may be a reflection of how you feel inside..if that is the case, then dump the loser and take care of you first! Dump him even if it isn't how you feel inside because if he makes you feel insecure about yourself, then he is a loser and you deserve better.

Take care of yourself first. Know what you want and deserve. Write it down and use it as a template. If the guy you're seeing doesn't fit that template, then he is not the guy for you...and he never will be because YOU can't change someone...they have to want to change themselves.

Baby, just dump him...because YOU know you deserve so much more...

Hey There
You do rock! If anyone makes you think that you aren't FABULOUS (with a human touch...because we all have those little quirks that make us loveable)

it's time to walk on.

YOU GO GIRL!!!!

The respecting yourself is easier said than done.

That's why I think it's so great and glorious to have supportive girlfriends.

They remind you of your...FAB!
