Take Care of Yourself

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Take Care of Yourself. I've waited and procrastinated on going to the dentist for three years! I have an appointment on Thursday and I'm terrified. I would always postpone going with the excuses "ohh, I don't have time right now" or "well, my teeth don't seem to bother me." Yea...bad idea. Last week my tooth started feeling a little funky and I can only imagine what else needs fixing.

Aside from having to fix at least 6 teeth (I presume), it'll also put a nice big hole in my wallet. Note to self: see a dentist every six months to avoid paying an arm and a leg to fix 3 years worth of damage.

This brings me to my point: Make sure to always take care of yourself. If you don't take care of yourself on a regular basis, it'll add up. Keep yourself healthy one day at a time by making smart choices on the foods you eat, getting checkups every 6 months, and remembering to take some ME-Time to de-stress. Remember, every day counts. As Eli always says, "Have a better day, have a better life."

A wise teacher once told me that you should never wait till the last minute to fix or scotch tape our body because we have been neglecting it. We wouldn't do that to our car or home. Or would we? Hmmm...

Yes, my point exactly. You live and learn...hopefully.
