Burnout Recovery Tips

Are you burnt-out from work? Like really really burnt-out? Take a vacation! Burnouts will never get better or go away unless you recharge your batteries. Everyone needs a break from time to time. Even though you might love what you do, burnout is inevitable. This month's "Health" magazine focuses on tips for burnouts. Here are some of my favorites:

***Go on vacation and do all of your favorite things. Anything and everything that helps you relax will be a great way to get your mind off of stress or worries.

***Veg out. How about doing absolutely nothing for a week until you get so bored that you will actually be excited to get back to work? Stay up, sleep in, read a book, go to the beach/pool/spa. How Fabulous does that sound? Perhaps that is all you will need.

I have a hard time just vegging out. I think it was the way I was brought up. I think with practice and yoga I will catch on.

Thanks Eli

I know how you feel Chris. I'm like that too. But sometimes you just have to stop thinking about all your responsibilities and just "be." Go to the movies, that's a great escape.

Hope that helps. Goodluck.
